A Scary Purple Attack Orb And Strange Dreams

First off happy Halloween!!! Now I have that out I need to tell all about my Halloween so far...

So last night was full of excitement and I didn't even go to a Halloween party! Now I have the best real life Halloween story that I've experienced for you (play some sort of creepy choral music)...

First part of the night included some great lovemaking but I won't get into that. ^_~ Then we fell sound asleep around 1:00am. I would have likely stayed sound asleep if it wasn't for an odd “spook” falling on my feet about an hour later (I honestly didn't know who/what it was when it woke me). It went like this:
Something hit my foot then made a huge clatter...
Me: Abruptly wake up and shout, “WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?
Fal: Also abruptly wake up and say, “I don't know...” then turn on the light.
In a daze I feel a bit nervous about looking over the edge of the bed...
I take the chance and see our “spook...”
Me: “Purple ball lamp???” I quickly identify the object.
We then have a laugh and go back to bed not even being bothered to pick up the lamp until morning.

I felt like a fool and didn't even think of it being Halloween at the time. I just thought that someone had broken into our house. Then that the cat got into the room somehow. Looking back on it thought it was the best timing ever!

Here's a pic of the scary purple attack orb :

Scary Purple Attack Orb

The “spook” wasn't the only strange thing that happened last night then there was my dreams...

Dream 1:
3:50-ish am
This dream was very vivid but felt surreal so it was all the more WTF when I woke up form it.

I'm in the truck with Dennis and Fal...

We seem to be in Reno close downtown...

There's some sort of event going on...

Suddenly there's the sound of fireworks (the dream starts to weave in and out of my PoV. At one point it's third person then Dennis')...

From Dennis' PoV I see black soot streaming into a very vivid blue sky like fireworks (the back to my PoV for the rest of the dream)...

Fal and I think it's fireworks but Dennis insists that it's a big fire...

We get closer to downtown. The closer we go things start to come into prospective...

First we see the soot “fireworks” then it starts to “rain” down this soot stuff...

The closer we get the more it “rains” (NOTE: I physically felt this stuff. I often feel things in my dreams)...

I try to roll up the window but it keeps coming through the other windows...

I finally ask Dennis to roll up the moon-roof? When did the Jeep get a sky-roof???...

Then we see the structure where the “fireworks” are coming from...

It IS a fire and it the old Fitz???...

No it's the Legacy?!?...

Then I woke up.

That was the first dream I remember last night. When I woke up I felt a bit of that pine and needles feeling and I wrote it down so I didn't forget it. What was up with that?

Dream 2:
I have no idea what time this one occurred.

This one was rather vivid too but more “real.”

Fal and I have borrowed the truck form Dennis. It's about 1:00 or 2:00am and we're driving around Sparks for some reason when the ruck starts to act funny. I quickly realize it's the alternator b/c the headlights where going dim and the radio was going out. We keep going as far as the truck would take us then it just quits. We realize that we need to get home so I first look for a shopping cart to put our stuff in. I get into a fight with this one old guy over the cart. Then I wake up... Ok that was a but odd too.

Dream 3:
This one occurred right before I woke up about 9:00am

The only thing I remember is that I was apparently Sephiroth and I'm standing in a check out line watching this one midget trying to act like a lost baby to get girls. Then he comes up to and tries the same thing on ME. I was like what are you doing? I just saw you pull this on several other people you can't fool me like that. Then there was a bit of an argument. Then a bark for my dog woke me up.

Well I think that's all of my Halloween for now. I'm off to get food.

OK Fal and I have been working on this idea of a web comic called RƏNO for a while and last night we finally got it on-line. It's an experiment in comic humor and very much a WIP but we're trying to update it every day for the time being to see if it catches on or not. Here's a link to it if you'd like to see it. Feel free to comment on it we'd love to have your feed back. http://projectrunno.smackjeeves.com/

Enjoy!

"You Gotta Be Shittin' Me..."

  • Oct. 5th, 2008 at 7:21 PM
WTS?!?!
Have you ever wondered where the phrase 'You Gotta Be Shittin' Me'' came from?

Well, it just so happens to have originated through the Father of Our Country, way back when George Washington was crossing the Delaware River with his troops.

There were 33 (remember this number) in Washington 's boat. It was extremely dark and storming furiously and the water was tossing them about.

Finally, Washington grabbed Corporal Peters (remember this name) and stationed him at the front of the boat with a lantern. He ordered him to keep swinging it, so they could see where they were heading.

Corporal Peters, through driving rain and cold, continued swinging the lantern back and forth, back and forth.

Then a big gust of wind and a wave hit and threw Corporal Peters and his lantern into the Delaware Washington and his troops searched for nearly an hour trying to find Corporal Peters, but to no avail. All of them felt terrible, for the Corporal had been one of their favorites.

Sometime later, Washington and his troops landed on the other side, wet and totally exhausted. He rallied the troops and told them that they must go on.

Another hour later, one of his men said, 'General, I see lights ahead.'

They trudged toward the lights and came upon a huge house. What they didn't know, was that this was a house of ill repute hidden in the forest to serve all who came.

General Washington pounded on the door, his men crowding around him. The door swung open, and much to his surprise stood a beautiful woman. A huge smile came across her face, to see so many men standing there.

Washington was the first to speak, 'Madam, I am General George Washington and these are my men. We are tired, wet, exhausted, and desperately need warmth and comfort.'

Again, the Madam looked at all the men standing th ere, and with a broad smile on her face, said, 'Well, General, you have come to the right place. We can surely give you warmth and comfort.. How many men do you have?'

Washington replied, 'Well, Madam, there are 32 of us without Peters.'

And the Madam said, 'You gotta be shittin' me.'

Homophobia- what does it do to you?

I found this on somebody's LJ and they found it somewhere and we don't know who wrote this nor where it came from. Pass it on...

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.

I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.

I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the Realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.

Re-post this if you believe homophobia is wrong. Maybe by spreading awareness, we can help end it once and for all.

This was sent to me and I had to pass it on. It's a bit crude and you may have read it before... If you don't want read it you don't have to but you HAVE been warned...

Pfizer Announcement

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails', 'highballs' and just a good old-fashioned 'stiff drink'. Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

If you don't send this to five old friends right away there will be five fewer people laughing in the world.

Danny's mother tells him no breakfast until he does his chores.

Well, he's a little ticked off so when he feeds the chickens, he kicks a chicken. When he feeds the cows, he kicks a cow. When he feeds the pigs, he kicks a pig.

He goes back in for breakfast and his mother gives him a bowl of dry cereal. "How come I don't get any eggs and bacon, and why don't I have any milk in my cereal?" he asks.

"Well," his mother says, "I saw you kick a chicken, so you don't get any eggs for a week. I saw you kick the pig, so you don't get any bacon for a week either. I saw you kick the cow so for a week you aren't getting any milk."

Just then, his father comes down for breakfast and kicks the cat halfway across the kitchen.

The little boy looks up at his mother with a smile, and says, "You gonna tell him or should I?"

ROTFLMAO!

You are on a plane that's about to crash. You have time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call and what do you say?

I don't know who I'd call or what I'd really say, but this brings to mind something I read a long time ago and I can't remember where I read it or the exact quote but it said something like this:

If you knew you were dying and you had just one hour to live who would you call and what wound you say and why aren't you doing it now?

Think about this question. If you really have something to say why wait until time passes you by? Life's too short to hold grudges or live in would have, could have or should haves. Live for the moment, cherish every breath you take and never hold back for "someday" because time is limited and "someday" may never come.

Hmmm I like this one and I think I'll try to answer it in a poem...

I’m the one that touches all.
I can help you see,
But I can also make you blind.
I make others' success noticeable,
But mine often goes unnoticed.
I provide energy to everyone.
I'm not any one size.
I help all living things to grow.
I embrace the world with warmth,
But I can also hurt and even kill.
I'm not angry nor am I happy,
I don't love nor hate,
I have no emotions at all.
I will exist somewhere forever,
But I never last in any one place for long.
What am I you ask?
I am the light.
Nothing more nothing less...

Well that wasn't too bad. How do you all like it?

The best thing I've ever done in my life is learn how to love unconditionally. This was also one of the hardest things that I've ever done but it was well worth it.

NOTE TO ALL WHO READ THIS: This question should serve as an inspiration to do all you can no matter what. We all NEED to do our best every day of our lives.

What makes a hero?

View 500 Answers

In my eyes, a hero is someone that has changes the world for the better, no matter how small the change is (one person CAN make a difference). Someone that will overcome their weaknesses and help others overcome their own. The people who try to commit only selfless act.

Anyone can be a hero in my eyes and everyone has their own hero. From the friends and family that offer a hand to us when we’re down to our own children (human and non-human alike) that love us unconditionally. From the firefighters and police officers that risk their lives and even sometimes die to the person that helps a stranger with their unwieldy groceries. These and so many more are the people that I can call heroes.

To all the heroes big and small I want to say thank you and to everyone I hope you can find the hero that lives in you.

Best wishes,
